New Delhi. Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar has said that India wants a ‘definite end’ of terrorism and in response to any terrorist attack like terrorist attack in Pahalgam last month, he will again attack terrorists in Pakistan. He said that all the ‘most notorious’ terrorists included in the United Nations ban list are in Pakistan and they are openly active in big cities of the country. He said, “The government is involved in this. (Pakistan) Army is fully involved in this.” Jaishankar said that after direct talks between the two sides, it was agreed to end the struggle in India and Pakistan. He said this in the backdrop of this claim of US President Donald Trump that Washington played a role in ‘ceasefire’. Jaishankar made this comment in separate interviews given to the broadcasters NOS and D Volkskrant of the Netherlands. He said that if there is a terrorist attack again, India will attack terrorists in Pakistan. He said that this is the reason why the operation vermilion has not ended. Jaishankar was in the Netherlands city of Hague as part of a visit to Netherlands, Denmark and Germany. He said, ‘This campaign is going on because there is a clear message in it – that if the actions like April 22 occur again, they will be answered, we will attack the terrorists.’ He said, ‘If the terrorists are in Pakistan, then we will attack them where they are. Therefore, there is a message to continue the operation, but continuing the operation is not the same as firing on each other. —- Polls Module would be displayed here- The Foreign Minister said that no one should believe that Pakistan does not know what is going on in its country. He said, “All the most notorious terrorists included in the United Nations (UN) ban list are in Pakistan. They are openly active in big cities.” He told D Volkskrant, “His addresses are known.” He said, “Their activities are known. Their mutual contacts are known. So we do not believe that Pakistan is not involved in it. The government is involved in it. The army is fully involved in it.” In response to the Pahalgam terror attack on 22 April, India had made accurate attacks on nine locations of terrorists on the intervening night of May 6 and 7 under Operation Sindoor. After Indian action, Pakistan tried to attack Indian military bases on 8, 9 and 10 May. The Indian side strictly responded to Pakistani efforts. Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri announced on May 10 that India and Pakistan had agreed to stop all types of firing and military operations on land, air and sea with immediate effect. Jaishankar said in his address that both India and Pakistan approved the system of ending the conflict. He said, ‘When two countries are entangled in the struggle, it is natural that the countries of the world try to express their concern by calling each other.’ Jaishankar said, “But there was a direct talks between India and Pakistan to stop firing and military action.” He said, ‘We had made one thing very clear to all the people talking to us, not only America but everyone, if Pakistanis have to stop the fight, then they have to tell us. We have to hear this from them. His general will have to call our general and say this. And this is what happened.’ After the end of the confrontation between India and Pakistan, Trump has taken credit several times, saying that he played a role in organizing a ‘ceasefire’ between the two sides. He said, ‘We want a definite end of terrorism. So our message is: Yes, the ceasefire has stopped military actions against each other at the moment, but if the terrorist attacks from Pakistan continue, it will have to bear the consequences. He said, ‘Pakistanis should understand this well.’
