Tusshar Kapoor: Veteran actor Jeetendra was a Bollywood superstar but his son Tushar Kapoor is still trying to make his mark in the industry. Tusshar started his acting career in 2001 with something to say. Despite giving some hit films like Golmaal franchise, The Dirty Picture and Shootout at Wadala, Tushar could not succeed in Bollywood. In an interview recently, Tushar Kapoor spoke of the early phase of his career and said that in his time, there was a debate on nepotism and people tried to draw him down due to being a star kid. Due to being a star kid, an attempt was made to drop down, in a candidate with Hindustan Times, Tusshar Kapoor was asked about Napotism, he said, “It started in my time too.” He further said, “Especially if you are from the film background, then the glass is always half empty for a particular section of the media. You have to be very thick skinned. Trying to drop a lot, there was a lot of negativity.” Attempted to wander from the way, the Tushar further said that a particular class of media targets star kids, often commenting on their appearance, degrades them. Tushar Kapoor, who has been part of the industry for 24 years, now considers himself lucky that he has a ‘will to move forward and focus on his work despite all the difficulties. He further said, “I did not come to the industry thinking that I have to live up to anyone’s expectations. But I was constantly tried to judge me and deviate me from the way. But the audience is very true. They will judge you based on what they see on the screen.” Starkid has to do much hard work Tushar also said that it is not true that star kids are born with silver spoon. He clearly said that actors with film background can get their first film very easily, but then they have to prove themselves every time. Talking about Tusshar Kapoor work frontwork front, Tusshar Kapoor’s recent horror comedy Kapakpi has been released in theaters on May 23.
