In many places, bridges and tunnels have been built in mountains and difficult geographical conditions. The bridge number 196 built on this track is 104 meters, which is 42 meters more than the Qutub Minar. The cost of 5 thousand crores will come, the total length of this project is 51.38 km and its cost is around Rs 5,021 crore. It has 48 tunnels, 55 large bridges, 87 small bridges, 5 road overbridges and 6 road underbridges. So far 97% of this track has been completed. This area is adjacent to the international borders of Myanmar and Bangladesh. In such a situation, the strategic importance of this railway line is also very big, which will make access to the border areas easier. The new Tracare Ministry, which is getting ready till Sikkim, has also started preparations for the new railway line for Sikkim. The final location survey of a new railway line has been approved through Jorethang and Legship from Meli to Dentum. This project will connect South and West Sikkim to the National Rail Network and open the way for economic development. Soon the rail will reach most corners of the North East and it will not only make the journey easy, but will also open the way for the development of the entire region. The track will start soon till Sikkim is preparing the track for the Indian Railway Sikkim and almost the work has been completed. This railway track is being built from Sevok in West Bengal to Rangpo in Sikkim. Looking at the details of this project, it is found that its total length is 44.96 km. Out of this entire project, 86 percent i.e. 38.65 km distance is omitted only from the tunnel, while 5 percent i.e. 2.24 km will pass through the bridge and 9 percent i.e. 4.69 km track will pass through the ground.
