The project is applying to DBFOT (design, construction, finance, operation and transfer) mode, in which the concessionor will operate the project for 50 years. There will be no financial burden on the government. The Observatory Tower will be built on the two pile cap foundation. It will have viewing gallery, cafeteria and all tourism facilities. The height of these tower on top of the New Gambler Bridge will be 125 meters. The shaft of each tower will be 8.50 meters x 5.50 meters. There will be two large floors in the upper part of the tower whose dimension will be 22.50 m x 17.80 meters. It provides for capsule lift for visitors. To reach the tower, 7.50 meters wide walkway bridges are being built on both sides in the sea part. There will also be parking facility at both ends of the bridge. This project will promote tourism and economic activities in Goa. Direct and indirect employment opportunities will also be available. It will develop areas such as hospitality, transport and retail and encourage local entrepreneurship. With this, Goa will emerge internationally as a major destination for architectural tourism and experience -rich journey.
