Punjab Murder: Sudani students, who were reciting morning prayers on Thursday (May 15, 2025), were attacked by six people with a knife, in which a 25 -year -old student was killed and another student was seriously injured near a private university in Phagwara, Punjab. The police gave this information. The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Wada Bala Yusuf Ahmed, who was living here as a paying guest in Maheru Colony. Police said that the injured Ahmed Mohammad Noor (Sudani citizen) has been admitted to a hospital in Jalandhar. In his complaint given to the police, Noor said that he, Wada and three female friends were offering morning prayers, when six people started abusing them, out of which two were knife. Noor said that one of the attackers allegedly asked for his sister’s phone number from him. Noor said that when he was asked to shut down the misconduct, the attackers attacked him and his friend Vada with a knife and ran away. Police identified the accused. Police said that local resident Prabhat Dubey arrived to help the injured students and took them to the hospital, where doctors declared Wada dead. Noor has named six attackers in his complaint, who was identified Abdul Ahad of Karnataka; Kunwar Amar Pratap Singh, Aditya Garg, Mohammad Shoaib, Sushant Shagi and Yashvardhan Rajput have taken place. They are all residents of Maheru Colony. Fagwara Superintendent of Police Rupinder Kaur Bhatti said that a case has been registered under the relevant sections of the Code of India and the search has been started for the arrest of the accused.
