Islamabad: A ceasefire is applicable between India and Pakistan. This is the favor of India, otherwise Pakistan would have been looking for itself in the rubble. However, Pakistan is threatening to attack India despite giving up. Right now Pakistan has tried to incite India. In fact, Director General (DG) of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhary warned in an interview to Sky News that if India violated the ceasefire, it would be “fast and definitely”. He irresponsibly stated that the increasing tension between the two countries can cause “mutual destruction”. There are nuclear-cosmetics on both sides. There is no need for any third, Chaudhary again tried to bounce the Kashmir issue on the international stage. He claimed that Kashmir is a disputed issue between India, Pakistan and China. According to the proposals of the United Nations Security Council, it should be resolved at the will of Kashmiri people. India has always rejected this claim, saying that Kashmir is its integral part. There is no scope for a third party mediation on this. Wishes of Kashmiri people…. Chaudhary said, “Till the issue of Kashmir is not solved according to the wishes of the Kashmiri people, peace between India and Pakistan is not possible. This is an incomplete agenda for the partition of 1947.” He accused India of making a false erection of being a “victim of terrorism” and appealed to the international community to prevent India from doing so. Bharat Chaudhary, who pretends to be a victim of terrorism, said, “India makes Kashmir an internal issue by making an excuse to be a victim of terrorism year after year, which is wrong.” He also added, “Whoever violates our regional integrity and sovereignty, our answer will be tough.” However, he also claimed that Pakistan wants peace and his people are celebrating “celebration of peace” on the streets. The Betuka statement after the ceasefire came at a time when a delicate ceasefire between the two countries came into force on 10 May. The ceasefire occurred after the Operation Sindoor launched by India after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in April and the retaliation of Pakistan. 26 tourists were killed in the attack, for which India blamed Pakistan. After this, both countries carried out drone and missile attacks, which made the situation serious. It is clear from this statement that Pakistan is trying to put pressure on India by bringing Kashmir on the international stage. But this strategy can further increase tension between the two countries. India has made it clear that it will not accept the mediation of any third party on Kashmir and will continue its action against terrorism. This situation remains a big challenge between the two countries in the path of peace.
