Rajya Sabha member Kapil Sibal on Saturday welcomed the Center’s decision to send delegation to various countries under diplomatic efforts after ‘Operation Sindoor’. He said that after the 26 November attack in Mumbai on 26 November, the then United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government had made such an exercise to expose Pakistan as a ‘Factory of Terrorists’, which India benefits till date. He said at a press conference here, ‘I remember that after 26/11 attacks, the then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had decided that we should take a step that proves in the world that Pakistan is a terrorist country and gives birth to terrorists. We collected facts, documentation and then different delegations went to different regions like America, Europe. Sibal, who was the Union Minister in the Manmohan Singh government, said, ‘I led the delegation who went to the African continent. We had met MPs, informed them of our issues… We created an environment that we still get the benefit. He said, “At that time we said that Pakistan is a factory of terrorists. Even China condemned the terrorist attack. After ‘Operation Sindoor’, seven all -party delegations will go abroad by taking India’s message not to tolerate terrorism, out of which four delegations will be led by leaders of the ruling parties while three will be led by leaders of opposition parties.
