Egg Manchurian recipe
Material:
Boiled Eggs – 4
Salt – as per taste
Oil – to fry
For the base (coating):
Cornfall – 2 tablespoons
Flour – 2 tablespoons
Black pepper – ½ tsp
Ginger-garlic paste-1 tsp
A little water (to make the solution)
For Manchurian Gravy:
Oil – 2 tablespoons
Garlic (chopped) – 1 tbsp
Ginger (chopped) – 1 teaspoon
Green Chilli-1-2 (chopped)
Onion – 1 (chopped)
Capsicum – ½ cup (chopped)
Soya Sauce – 1 Tbsp
Chili Sauce – 1 tbsp
Tomato Sauce – 1½ tbsp
Vinegar – 1 tsp
Salt – as per taste
Green onion – for garnish
Method of preparation:
1. Prepare eggs:
Boil the eggs and peel, and cut it into two pieces or keep it whole.
2. Make Batter:
Mix some water by mixing maida, cornflor, salt, black pepper and ginger-garlic paste and make a thick batter.
3. Coat and fry the eggs:
Dip the boiled eggs in the batter and fry it till it becomes golden in hot oil. Then remove them and keep them on the tissue paper.
4. Make Manchurian Gravy:
Heat oil in the pan. Add garlic, ginger and green chillies and fry it. Then add onion and capsicum and fry lightly.
5. Insert sauses:
Add soy sauce, chili sauce, tomato sauce, vinegar and salt. If needed, add some water and cook the gravy for 1-2 minutes.
6. Pour fried eggs:
Now put the fried eggs in the gravy and cook for 2-3 minutes, so that the sauce coats on the eggs well.
7. Garnish and serve:
Garnish with green onions and serve hot.
8. How to serve:
You can also eat Egg Manchurian with fried rice, hakka noodles or simple roti/paratha.
