Ingredients to make Hyderabadi Chicken Taheri:
Basmati rice – 2 cups (soak for 15 minutes)
Chicken – 500 grams (with boneless or bones)
Onion – 2 (finely chopped)
Tomato – 2 (chopped)
Curd – 1/2 cup
Ginger-garlic paste-1 tablespoon
Whole Spices – Tejas, Cardamom, Cinnamon, Cloves
Turmeric, chili, garam masala – as per taste
Green coriander and mint – a little
Oil or Ghee-3-4 tablespoons
Salt – as per taste
Water – 3 cups
How to make:
First, heat oil in a cooker or heavy bottom vessel and add whole spices to it.
Add onion and fry till it becomes golden, then add ginger-garlic paste.
Now add tomatoes and all ground spices and fry well.
