Curry leaf (curry leaf)-5-6 leaves
Cumin (whole) – 1 teaspoon
Lemon juice – 1 teaspoon
Ghee or peanut oil – 2 tbsp
Rock salt – as per taste (salt used in fast)
Green Coriander – 1 tbsp (finely chopped)
Preparation method
1. Soaking sago:
The most important step is to soak sago properly. Wash a cup of sago thoroughly and clean it with water 2-3 times, until the water starts to look clean. Then soak it in 1/2 cup of water for 5 to 6 hours or overnight. If the sago becomes soft and becomes completely different grains, then it is ready to cook.
Tip: If the grain is easily pressed when mashing in the hand, then it is well wet.
2. Prepare roasted peanuts:
Fry the peanuts lightly and remove the peel and grind it coarsely. This causes crispness and good taste to the khichdi.
3. Prepare spices:
Now heat ghee or peanut oil in a pan or pan. Add cumin seeds and let it crackle. Then add green chili and curry leaves to it. Fry for a while
4. Add potatoes:
Now add boiled and chopped potatoes. Fry them until they become light golden.
