Talking to Local 18, Manoj, who runs a martial millet tiffin, says that ‘Bajra Idli is a form of traditional South Indian Idli, which is a popular food that is liked in breakfast across India. It is made from millet, pulses and rice, which people like very much. I open the shop every morning and evening, there is a crowd of people, because its taste is slightly different from the normal idli and a cone of the leaf is prepared to make it, which also seems different to see.
Method of making millet idli
First of all, soak 1 cup of millet, 1/3 cup rice and the same dal in water for 2 to 3 hours. Then remove it and add some water and make a dry paste in the mixer. To show differently, make a cone of leaves and fill the paste in it and steam it in the same way as idli is made, that is, cook it in steam. When cooked, then eat it with sambar. Many people also eat idli with tea. Most people like its taste very much.
