This syrup was prepared by the Vaidyaraj here 68 years ago in Ayurvedic way. Abhishek Kataria of Gundochia of Pali says that his great -grandfather Bhagchand Kataria was Vaidyaraj. There was a small Ayurvedic medicines shop in Gol Nimbda-Udaipuria market itself. At that time there were no options for beverages to relieve heat in the surrounding area. In such a situation, he started making four-five types of syrup from the texts of centuries old Ayurveda.

If a guest comes to him in the summer, he gives them syrup instead of tea. The process of selling from here also started. At that time, he made four flavor syrup like poppy seeds, rose, lemon. Gradually, the taste of his syrup made on the tongue of the people started climbing. Sometimes a bottle was sold in 2-3 days, then the daily 4-5 bottles started selling. Gradually, the syrup became a brand named ‘Navkar’. Vaidya Bhagchand Kataria died in 1995 at the age of 95. After him, Dada Prakash Kataria and father Hemant Kataria carried forward this business. Hemant Kataria’s two sons Abhishek Kataria and Bhavesh Kataria are also engaged in this work.

Technology inherited from father to inherited syrup
Abhishek Kataria and Bhavesh Kataria, the great -grandson of Vaidya Bhagchand Kataria, not only learned the skills of this syrup inherited from their father but also worked to advance it even more. Both brothers did research on the market for about two years. After review from many people, it was revealed that people prefer quality and no chemical syrup, so that their body does not suffer any harm. Also, children prefer different flavors. In such a situation, the two brothers together worked on variety and made 15 new flavors. Now he sells not one but 19 flavors.

Do not use glucose and sequence in syrup
Hemant Kataria said that they do not use glucose, sekin in syrup. Natural flavors. Special care is also taken to keep the amount of sugar in syrup. Due to this, the taste and quality of their syrup has not decreased in 68 years. A bottle of a 750ml syrup is formed, making 30 to 35 glasses of syrup. The price of a bottle ranges from Rs 165 to Rs 350. Currently, both brothers are selling about 10 thousand bottles every month. Their annual turnover is close to 40 lakhs.
