It has been developed by Naval Science and Technology Lab and DRDO Lab in Visakhapatnam. This new mine will increase the strength of the Indian Navy. Any stealth ship or submarine of the enemy, no one will be able to escape this mine. What is the multi-influence ground mine? The work of laying the mine in the sea is decades old. Different types of mine have been used in the Indian Navy so far. But now the characteristics of different mine are being found in a mine simultaneously. For example, it works on 3 types of sensor input techniques. It works according to magnetic, acoustic and pressure. According to the pressure technique, the mine floats in water under a normal pressure. But if a ship or a submarine passes near that mine field, then the water pressure on the mine changes or increases. The sensors immediately catch this change and the mine is blasted. The second technique is magnetic influence, in which it recognizes the metal activities underwater. The third is an acousstick influence, that is, the sensors of this mine catch and track the vibrations and track it. If the mine is set on a particular sound wave or vibration and the sound coming from any ship or propeller of submarine is out of the already fixed limit, then this mine becomes active. So far, all the mines that the Navy uses, they are going to work on these three techniques, but in different ways. In this new mine, all three have been included in one. What is its specialty? It is the country’s first multi-influence smart naval mine which is equipped with low signature detection technology, which can be hidden from the enemy’s radar or sonar. It works on smart activation logic. This is so accurate that the possibility of wrong activation ends. Navarea Warning has been released in the sea for a long time. Whenever the Navy of a country executes the firing drill in its area, the merchant ship, warship and other fishing boat passing through that area are warned.
