The Indian mixed compound team of Jyoti Surekha Vamn and Rishabh Yadav dusted Chinese Taipei in a very tough final. Indian players defeated their rivals Huang Eye-Jau and Chen Chiha Lun 153–151 to win the gold medal in the Archery World Cup Phase one. This match was very difficult for the Indian mixed pair. India had not had a good start against Chinese Taipei archers. Surekha and Rishabh lost in both the first series.
