New Delhi. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is going to announce the India A team for the tour of England on 13 May. This team will take part in the match series against England Lions. These matches are considered important before the series played against England. This will be a chance to prove themselves for the emerging players and players trying to make it to the senior team. The selection committee held a meeting on 6 May to finalize the team at the Cricket Center in Mumbai. Abhimanyu Ishwar is likely to get the team captaincy due to continuous good performance in domestic cricket. Wicketkeeper Ishaan Kishan, who has made a place again in BCCI Central Contract, is eyeing everyone. Karun Nair, who performed a strong performance in domestic cricket, can also be sent to the selectors England. Karun Nair can get the place in the team on the tour of England. The tour includes three matches: two against England Lions (30 May – 2 June and 6–9 June) and against a senior Indian team (13–16 June). This series is an important opportunity for the players to get into the circumstances of England and submit their claim for future international matches.
