IANS Materies Survey: What was the effect on PM Modi’s image after Operation Sindoor? Statistics revealed

Operation Sindoor: The Pakistan-backed terrorist attack on April 22 in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir shook the entire country. In response to this terrorist attack, India ran ‘Operation Sindoor’ and destroyed the terrorist bases in Pakistan. In such a situation, when India was in a strong position against Pakistan, the ceasefire was announced at the same time. Many questions also arose on the government’s decision of the government. The opposition tried to surround the government, while Pakistan’s defeat and Pakistan’s victory was spread on social media on behalf of Pakistan. In the midst of all this, the IANS Materials Survey surveyed the action taken by the Indian Army against Pakistan, the announcement of ceasefire and the thinking of the people of the country on the Pakistani propaganda, in which many shocking facts came out. IANS Materies has conducted this survey between 9 May 2025 to 15 May 2025. A total of 7,463 people have been consulted in this survey, including 4,702 male and 2,761 women. All states have been included in this survey and the possibility of mistake (margin of error) +/- 3 percent. India succeeded in teaching pak a lesson? IANS Materies in his survey asked people whether India has been successful in teaching Pakistan a lesson from ‘Operation Sindoor’? On this question, 66 percent of the people answered this in ‘Yes’, while 18 percent people believe that ‘somewhat successful’ has been. Apart from this, 9 percent people say that it was not successful at all. At the same time, 7 percent of the people appeared trapped between ‘Don’t know/say’. Modi government capable in action against terror? After ‘Operation Sindoor’, do you think the present Modi government is capable of taking action against terrorism? On this question, 92 percent of the people have admitted that yes, the government is fully capable, while according to 1 percent, somewhat is capable. 4 percent answers in ‘no’ and 3 percent people could not give clear opinion. What a big achievement to enter Pakistan and kill? In the next question, people were asked that it has been a major achievement of the century for India to enter into a nuclear strong country like Pakistan? 72 percent of the people have replied ‘yes’ and described it as a big achievement. 9 percent of the people believe to some extent, while 12 percent people say that this is not a big achievement. Also, 7 percent people do not know/could not say that he replied. Has India succeeded in penetrating Pakistan’s nuclear armor? 78 percent of the people have answered this question in ‘yes’. He believes that India has been completely successful in penetrating the nuclear armor of Pakistan. Apart from this, 18 percent of the people believe that somewhat succeeded, while 4 percent people feel that it has not been successful. Did India’s image strengthen? Has India’s image stronger in the world because of ‘Operation Sindoor’? 73 percent of the people replied yes and said that ‘Operation Sindoor’ has strengthened the image of India. 16 percent of the people feel that some extent has been strengthened, while according to 19 percent of the people, the image has not been affected. At the same time, 2 percent people were not trapped between not knowing/cannot say. Has PM Modi’s image strengthened in the world after ‘Operation Sindoor’? 69 percent has responded to this in ‘yes’ and said that yes PM Modi’s image has been strengthened. 26 percent says that no, the image is the same as before, while 5 percent were in a position of ‘not known or say’. What was the effect on PM Modi’s popularity after ‘Operation Sindoor’? 74 percent of people have said that popularity has increased. 11 percent believes that there was no effect in popularity, while 10 percent believe that popularity has decreased. Apart from this, 5 percent of people were in a position of not knowing or cannot say. Are the questions raised on the opposition’s ‘Operation Sindoor’ correct? 27 percent of the people replied in ‘yes’ and justified the opposition’s questions. 9 percent believe to some extent correct, while 57 percent people feel that it is not right to question. Also stayed with 7 percent not knowing or cannot say.
