In the last few weeks, cases of corona infection have increased in these two countries, although there is a relief that these are mostly minor cases of cases and there is no news of seriousness or death related to them. Keeping in mind the events in these two countries, the Government of India has taken necessary steps immediately taking vigilance. A high -level review meeting was called by the Ministry of Health in this regard on Monday. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Director General of Health Services (DGHS) which included experts from National Center for Disease Control (NCDC), Emergency Medical Relief (EMR), Disaster Management Cell, Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and Central Government Hospitals. The meeting of the current Kovid-19 in the country was reviewed in detail. Experts said that the situation in India is currently under complete control. As of May 19, there are only 257 active Corona cases in the country, which is a very small number for a large population like India. In most of these cases, symptoms are light and no one needs to be hospitalized. It was also informed at the meeting that a strong and active monitoring mechanism is already present in the country to monitor other respiratory diseases including Korona which is being operated through IDSP (Integrated Disease Surveillance Program) and ICMR. This system is monitoring any possible threat. The Union Health Ministry has clarified that the government is completely cautious and is closely monitoring the situation. The Ministry has also instructed all states and concerned agencies to be ready to be alert and to deal with any possible situation.
