If a person is under stress for a long time, then many types of mental therapy will not work on it. Many shocking things have come out in this research.

A recent study has revealed that more stress damages the brain. Due to excess stress, the capacity of the brain is damaged, which we control emotions. Especially those who are struggling with mental illnesses like depression, enzyme or borderline personality disorder, this effect is seen even more. Stress can prove to be very dangerous for the brain of such people. This study has been done by scientists of Edith Kovan University (ECU) of Australia. It has been told that in the condition of stress, the executive functions of the brain become weak.

In easy language, stress weakens brain memory, impuls control and the ability to mold according to the circumstances. All these things help to take the right decisions in stress or difficult conditions and maintain emotional balance. Researchers believe that due to excessive stress, some people do not fully affect treatment like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). If the stress disrupts the process of thinking and understanding the mind, then the person is not able to take the right advantage of that therapy. Scientists have suggested that it may be necessary to strengthen people’s cognitive skills before starting severe mental therapy. This will not only help them in treatment, but will also increase the ability to fight stress. Researchers also said that further research is needed on this subject so that treatment can be improved further.
