The fruit plum found in the hilly areas of Uttarakhand has many medicinal properties

According to Professor Tiwari, the plum controls the level of insulin and oxygen in the body, which gives great relief to diabetes patients. Also, the vitamins present in it, iron, potassium, calcium and antioxidants also strengthen the body’s immunity. The plum has about 46 calorie energy, 0.3% fat and sufficient amount of fiber per 100 grams, which makes it an ideal healthy fruit.
