Amid tight security across the country, a passenger was removed from the Air India aircraft on the Kimpe Gowda International Airport (KIA) on Wednesday evening. Airport sources gave this information. The passenger was traveling in flight number AI-2820 going from Bangalore to New Delhi. Sources said that the passenger was removed due to security related concerns before the aircraft flew at 6.5 pm. Confirming the incident, an Air India official told ‘PTI’, “We are aware of the incident, but we will not share any details.” The official said, “There must have been any reason behind the removal of the passenger from the plane. It is not common. There were some special concerns that we cannot disclose.” In view of the air strikes by India in Pakistan and its occupied Kashmir to take ‘revenge’ for the killing of Indian tourists in Pahalgam last month, security has been tightened at the Kempagowda International Airport and airports across the country.
