Snake Venom Case: Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner and famous YouTuber Elvish Yadav have suffered a major setback from the Allahabad High Court. In fact, the Allahabad High Court has rejected Elvish Yadav’s petition. Elvish filed a petition in the case related to drugs and snake poison at the Rev Party in Noida. Elvish had demanded the court to cancel the charge sheet and summons filed against him in the petition. In the petition, the FIR not only challenged the FIR, the bench of Hanayamurthy Saurabh Srivastava has dismissed the petition of Elvish Yadav, the bench said that statements have been recorded against him in both the FIR and charge sheet. The judge said that the truth of these allegations will be investigated during the trial. The court also said that Elvish has not only challenged the FIR in its petition. Elvish Yadav’s legal team made these arguments, senior lawyer Naveen Sinha, along with advocate Nipun Singh and Advocate Naman Aggarwal, argued that the person who has filed an FIR is not legally authorized under the Wildlife Protection Act. It was also argued that Elvish Yadav was not present in the party where the alleged incident took place, as well as the lawyers said that no snake poison or drugs were recovered from Elvish. At the same time, opposition advocate Manish Goyal argued that the investigation has revealed that Elvish had supplied snakes to those from whom snake poison was recovered. However, after listening to both sides, the High Court dismissed Elvish’s petition and said that the trial court has to decide on the matter. FIRs were registered against many including Elvish in these sections, on 3 November 2023, an FIR was lodged against several people including Elvish Yadav in Sector 49, Noida. PFA Organization’s Animal Welfare Officer Gaurav Gupta lodged an FIR against all. These FIRs were recorded in Section 289,284,120-B of IPC, Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act 8, 30, 22, 32, 29 and Section 51, 9, 39, 50, 49, 48A of the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972. What are the accused, including Elvish Yadav, were accused of using drugs, snake venom and making videos with live snakes in the rave party. Elvish had demanded the cancellation of the charge sheet filed in the court after deliberation.
