On Thursday, there was a cause of mutual murder here on Thursday and unidentified youths fired bullets at two friends at Sabzi Mandi Chowk. In the firing, a young man named Rahul died, while a young man named Surjeet was shot in the arm. After receiving information about the incident, there was an atmosphere of stir in the Sonipat police. Top officials of Sonepat Police reached the civil hospital with Dalbal and have started investigating the matter seriously. According to the information, unidentified youths opened fire on Rahul and his friend Surjeet, sitting at an earthen vessel shop at Sonepat’s Sabzi Mandi Chowk, in which many bullets were hit by Rahul and a bullet hit Surjeet’s arm. When the family rushed both of them to the civil hospital, Rahul died while Surjeet is undergoing treatment. It is being told that several days ago, Rahul had an argument with a person, after which the incident has been carried out, the police questioned the injured Surjeet and started investigating the case seriously and got into the identity of the accused. After receiving the information of the incident, the top officer of Sonepat Police and the Civil Line Police Station reached the spot. Giving information about the bullet case, DCP Crime Narendra Kadian said that a bullet was fired near the vegetable market in which a young man died and a young man was seriously injured.
