Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) of India and Pakistan spoke on the hotline on Monday. In the conversation, Pakistan said that it would not fire a single bullet from across the border. It has been said in the talks that both sides should not fire a single bullet. No aggressive and hostile action should be initiated against each other. According to the army, it was agreed that both sides i.e. India and Pakistan should consider immediate measures to ensure a decrease in the number of soldiers from borders and forward post areas. The talks between DGMO took place at 5 pm on Monday, May 12. This conversation, which took place after firing and air strikes from both sides, has been very important. Pakistan’s success in ‘Operation Sindoor’ was defeated by Pakistan. After falling behind badly in this battle, Pakistan proposed a ceasefire to India on May 10, which India accepted on its terms. The DGMO of India and Pakistan held an important discussion on this subject on Monday. It discussed the ceasefire on the Line of Control. India’s DGMO Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai attended this military level talks with Pakistan. Pakistan was represented by DGMO Major General Kashif Abdullah. In this talk, Pakistan has said that now it will not carry forward this conflict. Pakistan has also spoken not to violate the ceasefire. In order to maintain peace and stability on the Line of Control, the DGMO of India-Pakistan was also signed in the year 2021. DGMOs of both countries talk on the Hotline on the restoration of peace on the Line of Control and related issues. According to the information, in the discussion, the consent to stop shelling and the current circumstances was reviewed. On April 22, 26 innocent tourists were killed by Pakistan-backed militants in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. After this terrorist attack, the Indian Army targeted terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan occupied Kashmir under ‘Operation Sindoor’, killing more than a hundred terrorists. The Indian Army says that it only targeted the terrorist bases. Military and civilian hideouts were not targeted by him, but the Pakistani army retaliated, supporting the terrorists, after which India gave a befitting reply to the Pakistani Army.
