A district one product (ODOP) scheme of the Yogi government, launched to promote handicrafts and special products of Uttar Pradesh, included 12 more new products including Sattu of Ballia, Petha of Agra. The state government spokesperson said that while many states of the country are adopting the ODOP scheme of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, ODOP products are also being appreciated in the world. To strengthen this, the Yogi government has included 12 more new products in ODOP, which will make its mark in the country and the world. The Yogi government has already included 62 products in different districts of the state in ODOP, while this number has increased to 74. Prankhi, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Secretary Pranjal Yadav said that ODOP, the traditional characteristics and industries of every district of the state have got recognition in the national and international market. This has not only given employment to local craftsmen and entrepreneurs, but the state’s economy has also got new energy. Among the new products, Baghpat’s Agricultural Implementation and Related Assessories, Hosiery Products of Saharanpur, Firozabad Food Processing, Mattal and Apel Products of Ghaziabad, Textile and Apelled Products, Metal and Wooden Handicraft of Amroha, Petha Industry of Agra and all types of footwear products, Hamirpur’s Matter Products, Hamirpur’s Matter Products, Hamirpur Chikori products, food processing of Pratapgarh, brush of Bijnor and products related to it and Sattu products of Ballia etc. are included. Under the ODOP scheme, Banaras saree, Bhadohi carpet, Kannauj’s perfume, Agra’s shoe, Aligarh’s Talk, Wood Curving of Saharanpur, Agra’s leather product and marble work, Jari-Zari-Zari-Zari-Jadoji, Swarnakari, Bamboo Bet, Banjore’s Kantha Kantra etc. have created their new identity on the world table.
