Local residents allege that the drainage of the drains could not be drained. He said that despite complaining to the administration several times, no concrete action was taken. At the same time, many parts of the entire state, especially in Malnad and coastal Karnataka areas, are also receiving good rains. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert in the districts of Uttara Kannada, Udupi, Belagavi, Dharwad, Gadag, Haweeri and Shivamogga. In its daily bulletin released on Sunday, the fresh Bulletin of IMD said that in the next three hours, light to moderate rains, thunderstorms with strong winds (30-40 km per hour) can run at different places. During this period, there is a possibility of temporary barrier, traffic jams and weak trees falling. People have been advised to stay indoors, keep doors and windows closed and travel only in essential conditions. The administration has also appealed to be vigilant and asked to contact the helpline numbers in an emergency.
