New Delhi. Indian Railways is doing 1337 stations with small and big stations across the country with the convenience of passengers. All of them will get airport -like facility at the stations. Out of these, 103 railway stations have been completely redeveloped and they are being inaugurated on 22 May. The most of these railway stations are from Uttar Pradesh. Gujarat is at number two and the third is Maharashtra. States are being redeveloped by the Ministry of Railways under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. Their total budget is 1 lakh crore rupees. In the year 2023-24, Rs 8000 crore has been spent and 12993 crore in 2024-25. Along with this, 12000 crores have been given for redevelopment in the year 2025-26 budget. According to the Railway Director Information and Publicity Dilip Kumar, the Railway Director of the Ministry of Railways is taking place in this way, the Indian Railways is redeveloping the stations under the Amrit Bharat Railway Station. These include roof plaza, inter model connectivity, children’s play, kiosk, lift, waiting room, food court etc. Also, they will be made favorable to the environment and the disabled, so that the passengers do not get any kind of disturbance during the journey by train. State -wise names of redeveloped stations 19 stations in Uttar Pradesh, 18 in Gujarat, 16 in Maharashtra, eight in Rajasthan, nine in Tamil Nadu, six in Madhya Pradesh, six in Madhya Pradesh, five in Chhattisgarh, five in Karnataka, three in Telangana, three in West Bengal, three in West Bengal, two in Kerala, two in Andhra Pradesh, one in Assam, one in Assam, two, Himachal Pradesh, two, Haryana Ek, Haryana Ek Station has been redeveloped. Redeveloped station Bijnor, Saharanpur, Idgah Agra Junction, Govardhan, Fatehabad, Karchana, Govindpuri, Punraya, Abhinagar, Bareilly, Hathras City, Ujhani, Siddharth Nagar, Swami Narayan Chhapia, Malani Jankation, Gola Gokrananath, Ramghat Halt, Ramghat Halt, Balprampur State -wise figures of stations are the highest in Uttar Pradesh, followed by 132 in Maharashtra, 101 in West Bengal, 98 in Bihar, 87 in Gujarat, 85 in Rajasthan, 80 in Madhya Pradesh, 77 in Tamil Nadu, 73 in Andhra Pradesh, 73 in Andhra Pradesh, 73 in Karnataka, 61 in Karnataka, 59 in Odisha, 57 in Odisha, 57 in Jharkhand and 50 in Assam. Work on 148 stations in UP started work on 148 out of 157 stations being redeveloped in Uttar Pradesh. This only nine stations are left where work has not started yet. But their process has started.
